It measures 6 mm in diameter with a 214 mm overall length and a 174 mm flute length, placing it in the DC160-25-A1 series with a 25xD flute-to-diameter ratio. The 140-degree point geometry reduces thrust load and improves self-centering on entry. A TiSiAlCrN coating provides heat resistance and extended tool life in high-temperature cutting conditions. This bit is designed for use by machinists and toolroom technicians working with CNC machining centers and drill presses requiring coolant-through capability.
This drill bit is suited for blind hole, cross hole, inclined hole exit, and stack drilling operations. Primary workpiece materials include alloy steel and titanium alloy. Secondary applications cover glass and graphite. The straight-cylindrical shank with h7 diameter tolerance ensures consistent runout in standard collet and chuck toolholding systems.
