Wash gently

Use hot water with automatic dishwasher detergent, a dishwasher with the cells resting on upside-down glasses, or a garden hose. Do not bend the collector plates and wipe the ionizing wires gently.

Skip the drying cycle

Never run cells through a dishwasher drying cycle, because residue can bake on. Do not use coil cleaners or contact cleaners.

Dry fully

Let cells and pre-filters air-dry completely before reinstalling and restoring power.
