Semi-Hermetic Compressors

Semi-hermetic compressors are highly efficient and reliable machines used to move refrigerants in air conditioning, heat pump, and other refrigeration systems. They feature a hermetically sealed motor that is connected to the compressor body by two shafts one for power transmission, the other for suction and discharge of the gas. This design provides greater efficiency than open type compressors as it eliminates potential leak points. Semi-hermetic compressors also have superior thermal stability due to their ability to operate without oil circulation or external cooling systems. Furthermore, they boast low maintenance requirements compared to their open counterparts, making them ideal for applications where downtime must be kept at a minimum.
