The WALTER-TITEX 7577917 is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in demanding industrial applications. With a 0.0610-inch diameter and a 140-degree point angle, it produces clean, accurate entry points in tight-tolerance work. The AlCrN coating provides heat and wear resistance, extending tool life in high-speed operations. At 2.638 inches overall length with a straight-cylindrical shank conforming to DIN 6535 HA, this bit fits standard toolholders used in CNC machining centers and precision drill presses. Coolant-through capability allows cutting fluid delivery directly to the cutting edge, reducing heat buildup during deep micro-hole operations. This tool is intended for use by machinists and tooling professionals working in precision manufacturing environments.
This micro drill bit is suited for blind hole drilling, stack drilling, and through-hole drilling across a range of workpiece materials. Primary workpiece materials include cast iron, non-ferrous metal, stainless steel, and steel. Secondary applications extend to cobalt, glass, graphite, iron alloy, nickel, titanium, and titanium alloy. The 12xD flute-by-diameter ratio supports drilling to a maximum depth of 22.00 mm, making it appropriate for deep micro-hole work where chip evacuation and cutting stability are critical. It is commonly used in aerospace, automotive, and precision parts manufacturing where tight tolerances and small-diameter holes are required.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and precision drill presses equipped with straight-cylindrical shank toolholders conforming to DIN 6535 HA. Compatible with blind hole, stack drilling, and through-hole drilling operations in cast iron, non-ferrous metal, stainless steel, steel, cobalt, glass, graphite, iron alloy, nickel, titanium, and titanium alloy workpieces. Part of the WALTER-TITEX Series DB133-12-A1.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians familiar with CNC or manual precision drilling equipment. Ensure the machine spindle and toolholder are fully powered down and locked out before inserting or removing the bit. Verify toolholder runout is within acceptable limits before use, as micro-diameter carbide tools are sensitive to concentricity errors. Connect coolant-through supply lines before beginning drilling operations to prevent thermal damage to the cutting edge.
