The WALTER-TITEX 7577916 is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in demanding industrial and machining applications. With a 0.0591-inch diameter, a 140-degree drill point angle, and an AlCrN coating, this bit delivers sharp entry geometry and elevated heat and wear resistance. The through-coolant design channels cutting fluid directly to the tip, maintaining thermal stability and chip evacuation during deep or high-cycle drilling. Overall length is 2.48 inches, and the straight-cylindrical shank conforms to DIN 6535 HA, making it compatible with standard precision tool holders. Right-hand cut geometry follows conventional CNC and manual machine spindle rotation. This bit is intended for use by machinists, tool-and-die professionals, and precision metalworking shops.
The 7577916 is suited for blind hole, stack drilling, and through-hole drilling operations. Primary workpiece materials include cast iron, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, and steel. Secondary applications cover cobalt alloys, glass, graphite, iron alloys, nickel, titanium, and titanium alloys. The 12xD flute-by-diameter ratio supports controlled chip flow across extended drilling depths up to 20.00 mm. The 0.9060-inch flute length provides adequate cutting engagement while the 3.00 mm (0.1180-inch) shank diameter suits micro toolholder collets commonly found in CNC machining centers and high-speed drilling spindles.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and precision drilling equipment with collet chucks or tool holders accepting a 3.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank conforming to DIN 6535 HA. Suitable for workpiece materials including cast iron, non-ferrous metal, stainless steel, steel, cobalt alloys, glass, graphite, iron alloys, nickel, titanium, and titanium alloys per Series DB133-12-A1 specifications.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists with the machine spindle fully stopped and all energy sources locked out per applicable machine safety procedures. Verify collet or tool holder bore matches the 3.00 mm shank diameter before clamping to avoid runout or tool pullout. Do not exceed the rated maximum drilling depth of 20.00 mm without retracting to clear chips. Confirm coolant-through capability of the spindle and toolholder before activating through-coolant flow.
