The WALTER-TITEX 7577885 is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in demanding industrial and machining applications. With a 0.0591-inch diameter and a 140-degree point angle, it delivers accurate hole entry and minimal walking on hard and abrasive workpiece materials. The AlCrN coating improves thermal resistance and extends tool life in high-speed operations. The through-coolant design channels cutting fluid directly to the cutting edge, reducing heat buildup and aiding chip evacuation in deep or blind holes. Overall length is 2.244 inches, with a straight-cylindrical shank conforming to DIN 6535 HA. This bit is installed and run by machinists and CNC tooling technicians.
This micro drill bit is suited for blind hole, stack drilling, and through hole drilling operations across a wide range of materials. Primary workpiece materials include cast iron, non-ferrous metal, stainless steel, and steel. Secondary workpiece materials include cobalt, glass, graphite, iron alloy, nickel, titanium, and titanium alloy. The 8xD flute-to-diameter ratio and 0.669-inch flute length support controlled chip removal at depth, making this bit appropriate for tight-tolerance production machining environments where micro-diameter holes are required.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and drill presses equipped with through-coolant toolholders accepting a 0.118-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Compatible with workpiece materials including cast iron, stainless steel, steel, non-ferrous metals, titanium, titanium alloy, nickel, cobalt, graphite, glass, and iron alloys per the Series DB133-08-A1 specification.
This bit is installed by machinists or CNC tooling technicians using a collet or hydraulic chuck rated for the 0.118-inch shank diameter. Confirm through-coolant supply is active before drilling operations begin, as dry running at micro diameters accelerates tool wear. Verify spindle runout is within acceptable tolerance before mounting micro-diameter tooling, as even minor runout can cause breakage. Follow machine tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety procedures when handling carbide tooling.
