The WALTER-TITEX 7377650 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit engineered for demanding precision drilling in industrial and machining environments. Built on the DC160 series platform, it features a 13.1 mm diameter (0.5157 inches), a 140-degree drill point angle, and a dual-coating system combining TiSiAlCrN and AlTiN for extended tool life under high-heat conditions. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 14 mm in diameter and is designed for use in CNC machining centers and precision drill presses. With coolant-through capability and a 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio, this bit maintains chip evacuation and cutting stability in deep-hole applications up to 60 mm.
This drill bit is suited for machining cast iron, non-ferrous metals, steel, superalloys, and titanium — workpiece material codes K, N, P, and S. Typical applications include blind holes, cross holes, inclined hole exits, and stack drilling operations. The right-hand spiral flute geometry promotes consistent chip flow and reduces cutting force across multi-material setups. It is appropriate for production machining environments where dimensional accuracy and tool longevity are critical priorities.
Designed for use across workpiece material codes K (cast iron), N (non-ferrous metals), P (steel), and S (superalloys and titanium) in CNC drilling and machining applications. Fits within the DC160 series range covering 12.50 mm to 15.00 mm drill bit diameters (0.5000 to 0.6500 decimal inch range).
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians familiar with CNC toolholding systems and cutting tool runout specifications. Ensure the machine spindle and collet are clean and within tolerance before seating the straight-cylindrical shank. Activate coolant-through supply before initiating the cut to prevent premature coating degradation and chip packing. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and ANSI B94 standards for feed rate and spindle speed selection appropriate to the workpiece material.
