The WALTER-TITEX 7377636 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit engineered for high-performance drilling in demanding materials. It carries a dual-layer TiSiAlCrN/AlTiN coating that extends tool life and supports elevated cutting speeds. The 140-degree drill point angle is suited for self-centering entry and clean breakout across a range of workpiece materials. With an overall length of 124 millimeters, a flute length of 77 millimeters, and a maximum drilling depth of 60 millimeters, this bit fits standard jobber-length toolholding setups. Coolant-through capability is built in, making it a fit for CNC machining centers where internal coolant delivery is available. Machinists and toolroom professionals are the primary users of this tooling.
This drill bit is designed for use on cast iron, non-ferrous metals, steel, and superalloys including titanium. Its Series DC160 designation and 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio make it appropriate for blind hole, cross hole, inclined hole exit, and stack drilling applications. The straight-cylindrical shank with a 14 millimeter shank diameter seats directly into standard collet chucks or hydraulic toolholders on CNC lathes and machining centers. Residential HVAC and plumbing trades are not the target application — this is a precision cutting tool for metalworking environments requiring tight tolerances.
Designed for use with cast iron, non-ferrous metals, steel, and superalloys and titanium workpieces. Compatible with toolholding systems that accept a 14 millimeter straight-cylindrical shank. Suitable for blind hole, cross hole, inclined hole exit, and stack drilling operations on CNC equipment with internal coolant capability.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with CNC toolholding systems. Power down and lock out the spindle before seating or removing the bit from any toolholder. Verify coolant-through passages are clear before engaging internal coolant supply. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling manufacturer guidelines for speed and feed selection based on workpiece material.
