The WALTER-TITEX 7377529 is a solid carbide jobber drill designed for high-performance drilling in demanding production environments. It features an 8.00 mm diameter, a 140-degree split point, and a multi-layer AlTiN/TiSiAlCrN proprietary coating that extends tool life in abrasive and hard workpiece materials. The overall length is 91.00 mm (3.5827 inches), the flute length is 53.00 mm (2.0866 inches), and the straight cylindrical shank diameter is 8 mm with a shank length of 36 mm (1.4170 inches). Classified under the DC160 series, this drill is built to the WJ30ET material grade and conforms to ANSI and ISO standards. It is installed and used by machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and CNC operators in metal fabrication and production machining operations.
This drill is suited for blind hole, cross hole, inclined hole exit, and stack drilling applications. Primary workpiece materials include steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals, covering material codes K, N, P, and S. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports a maximum drilling depth of 43.00 mm. Coolant-through capability makes it compatible with through-spindle coolant systems, which is especially useful for deep blind holes and high-feed operations in CNC machining centers and drill presses configured for internal coolant delivery.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide jobber drill for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual machines equipped with an 8.00 mm collet, chuck, or tool holder accepting a straight cylindrical shank.
Installation is performed by machinists or CNC setup technicians. Power down and de-energize the machine spindle before loading or changing tooling. Secure the straight shank in a properly sized collet or drill chuck to the holder manufacturer specified clamping torque. When using coolant-through capability, verify that the machine spindle and toolholder are rated for internal coolant delivery before enabling coolant flow.
