The WALTER-TITEX 7233424 is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in demanding industrial and machining applications. Built to DIN 1899 standards, it features a 118-degree point angle and a 0.0161-inch diameter, making it well-suited for extremely small-hole work where dimensional accuracy is critical. The right-hand cutting geometry and parallel web configuration promote clean, consistent chip evacuation. With an overall length of 25 mm and a straight-cylindrical shank measuring 1.00 mm in diameter, this bit is compatible with standard collet and chuck systems used in precision machining environments. Installation and operation are handled by machinists and CNC operators working in metalworking and fabrication settings.
The 7233424 is engineered for blind hole, through hole, and stack drilling operations. Its primary workpiece material compatibility includes alloy steels, titanium alloys, and non-ferrous materials, covering ISO material codes K, M, N, O, P, and S. The DB130 Advance series is built around micro-diameter performance, where flute geometry and carbide substrate selection directly affect hole quality and tool life. The bright/uncoated finish is appropriate for materials where coating adhesion or thermal compatibility is not required. This bit is a solid choice for aerospace, medical device, and precision component manufacturing workflows.
Designed for use with alloy steels, titanium alloys, and non-ferrous materials (ISO material codes K, M, N, O, P, and S). Suitable for blind hole, through hole, and stack drilling applications. The straight-cylindrical shank is compatible with standard collet and precision chuck toolholding systems accepting a 1.00 mm shank diameter.
This bit is intended for use by qualified machinists and CNC operators. Ensure the machine spindle and toolholder are fully stopped and de-energized before installing or removing the bit. Use a precision collet or chuck rated for the 1.00 mm shank diameter to prevent runout, which is especially critical at micro diameters. Do not exceed the maximum drilling depth of 2.00 mm, and verify coolant-through is not required for the application, as this bit does not support internal coolant delivery.
