The WALTER-TITEX 6618620 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding industrial and trade applications. Built to Series DC150-08-A1 specifications, it features a 3.50 mm diameter, a 140-degree split point, and a TiNAl (titanium aluminum nitride) coating that extends tool life under high heat and abrasion conditions. The straight cylindrical shank measures 6 mm in diameter. With a 2-flute right-hand cutting geometry and coolant-through capability, this drill maintains chip evacuation and thermal control across tough workpiece materials. It is installed by machinists, tooling technicians, and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
This drill is suited for blind-hole drilling and stack drilling operations. Compatible primary workpiece materials include cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, steel, and high-temperature alloys, corresponding to material codes K, N, P, and S. The 8xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports deeper penetration relative to bit diameter. With an overall length of 74.00 mm (2.913 inches) and a maximum drilling depth of 28.00 mm (1.102 inches), it fits standard CNC machining centers and drill presses equipped for small-diameter carbide tooling. Drill bit grade is WJ30TA.

Do not exceed the manufacturer-rated maximum drilling depth of 28.00 mm per cycle without re-evaluating chip load and coolant flow.
