It measures 0.366 inches in diameter with an overall length of 4.055 inches and features a TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride) coating that extends tool life in abrasive and heat-intensive applications. The 140-degree split point geometry reduces thrust and improves centering accuracy on entry. Two spiral flutes with a 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio clear chips efficiently during through and blind hole operations. A whistle notch shank with a 0.394-inch shank diameter ensures positive drive retention in compatible toolholders. This bit is part of the DC150 series and is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians in CNC and manual drilling applications.
This drill bit is suited for blind hole drilling and stack drilling operations across a wide range of workpiece materials.
