The VALUE COLLECTION ICP76510A is a solid carbide turning insert designed for precision metal cutting on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Manufactured to ANSI insert code CCMT32.51 and ISO insert code CCMT09T304, this insert features an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape with a positive side clearance and a 7-degree relief angle. The substrate is carbide grade C5 with a TiN (titanium nitride) coating applied to extend tool life and reduce built-up edge. With a 3/8-inch inscribed circle and a 1/64-inch corner radius, this insert suits moderate to fine finishing passes on a range of workpiece materials. It is secured via screw-lock holding and is compatible with standard CCMT-style toolholders.
This insert is suited for turning operations on steel, stainless steel, and similar workpiece materials as indicated by primary workpiece material codes M and P. It is appropriate for use in production and job-shop environments where consistent insert geometry and coating quality are required. Typical applications include external turning, facing, and contour operations on CNC or manual lathes. Each package contains one insert, and a minimum order quantity of 10 units applies per the supplier specification. Machinists, toolroom operators, and CNC setup technicians are the primary installers of this insert type.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for CCMT32.51-style insert pockets in standard screw-lock CCMT toolholders used on CNC and manual turning centers.
This insert is installed by machining technicians using standard insert torx or hex wrenches — follow the toolholder manufacturer's specified clamp screw torque procedure. Always index or replace inserts with the machine powered off and spindle locked. Inspect the toolholder pocket and seating surfaces for chips or debris before seating a new insert. Wear appropriate PPE when handling carbide inserts, as edges are extremely sharp.
