The VALUE COLLECTION BC04P0004 is a combination drill and countersink designed for precise, single-operation hole preparation in metalworking and fabrication applications. Built from cobalt high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, this tool handles the drilling and countersinking steps simultaneously, reducing setup time and improving consistency. The body diameter measures 5/16 inches, the drill point diameter is 1/8 inch, and the 118-degree drill point angle is standard for cutting into steel, stainless, cast iron, and other hard materials. Overall length is 2-1/8 inches. The 60-degree included angle on the countersink portion seats standard flathead fasteners flush.
This combo drill countersink is suited for machine shops, maintenance technicians, and fabricators working on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The right-hand cutting direction is compatible with standard drill press and CNC spindle rotation. Its double-end design and plain cutting edge style make it a reliable general-purpose tool for countersinking screw seats, deburring holes, and chamfering edges on workpieces where flathead or countersunk hardware must sit flush. The cobalt construction provides added heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS tooling, making it a practical choice for production environments or harder alloys.
Designed as a standard combo drill countersink for use with size 4 fasteners requiring a 60-degree countersunk seat in metal fabrication and machining applications.
This tool is installed in a standard drill chuck or collet by a machinist or maintenance technician. Secure the shank firmly before operation and confirm spindle rotation is set to right-hand before engaging the workpiece. Use appropriate cutting fluid when working with harder alloys to extend tool life and maintain dimensional accuracy. Inspect the cutting edges for wear before each use and replace if chipping or dulling is observed.
