The VALUE COLLECTION 752Y-15 is a single-stage acetylene welding regulator designed to reduce and control gas flow from a cylinder to a torch or downstream apparatus. It accepts a CGA 510 inlet connection with a male fitting and a 9/16-18 left-hand thread, as required for acetylene service. The regulator handles a maximum outlet pressure of 15 psi and a flow range of 1,200 cubic feet per hour (CFH), making it suitable for general-purpose oxy-acetylene welding, cutting, and brazing setups. Welders and pipefitters working in fabrication shops, field service, or maintenance environments are the primary users of this type of equipment.
This regulator is intended for acetylene cylinder service in single-torch welding and cutting operations. The CGA 510 inlet is the standard connection for acetylene cylinders, and the left-hand inlet thread rotation is the industry convention for fuel gas equipment. It is appropriate for light to medium-duty applications where controlled, stable outlet pressure at or below 15 psi is required. This unit ships as a single piece and is suitable for bench use, portable cart setups, and fixed station work.
Designed for use with standard acetylene cylinders equipped with a CGA 510 valve outlet. Verify torch and hose inlet fittings are rated for acetylene service and match the regulator outlet connection before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welder or gas equipment technician familiar with CGA fitting standards and applicable safety codes. Always close the cylinder valve and bleed downstream pressure before connecting or disconnecting the regulator. Left-hand threads require counterclockwise tightening — use an appropriately sized wrench and do not use PTFE tape or pipe dope on CGA connections. Inspect the inlet seat and nylon washer for damage before each use and replace if worn.
