Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it measures 5/16 inch (0.3125 inch) in cutting diameter with a 3/4 inch length of cut and a 2-1/2 inch overall length. The 3/8 inch shank diameter provides rigid tool holding in standard collets and end mill holders. With four right-hand flutes and a right-hand cutting direction, this tool is suited for hogging operations where stock removal rate matters. It is center-cutting, allowing plunge entry when required.
