The UNIWELD 68 is a Victor-style machine cutting torch designed for acetylene fuel gas and built for use in automated and semi-automated cutting machine setups. With an overall length of 10 inches and a 90-degree head angle, it mounts into standard cutting machine barrels for precise, repeatable cuts. The brass torch head and body provide durability under continuous industrial use. Integrated check valves prevent reverse flow of gases, adding a layer of safety during operation. Precision reamed seats and a quick-opening oxygen cutting lever support clean, consistent performance across a wide range of cutting applications.
The UNIWELD 68 suits industrial fabrication, general steel cutting, light fabrication, and maintenance and repair work. Its Victor-style design makes it a direct fit for machines already equipped with Victor-compatible hardware. The 90-degree head angle positions the tip correctly for flat-table or track-guided cutting machines commonly found in steel service centers, fabrication shops, and industrial maintenance environments. Maximum cutting capacity is 8 inches of material thickness, making it capable across a broad range of structural and plate steel applications.
Compatible with Victor-style cutting tip series: 1-101, 1-108, 1-112, 1-200, 1-207, 1-212, 1-218, 1-303MP, 1-318MP, 1-GPN, 1-GPP, 1-HPN, 1-HPP, 1-MTHN, 1-MTHP, 1-101L, 1-GPM, 1-HPM, and 1-MTHM. Standard barrel design fits most cutting machines configured for Victor-style torches.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified welder or industrial gas equipment technician familiar with oxyfuel cutting systems. Before mounting or servicing the torch, shut off the acetylene and oxygen supply at the cylinder valves and bleed pressure from all hoses. Verify all fittings are leak-free using an approved leak-detection solution before igniting. Follow applicable OSHA, AWS, and CGA safety guidelines for oxyfuel cutting equipment handling and operation.
