The TRU-MAXX TRU-RS203H is a hard-density disc backing pad designed for use with Quick-Change Type S abrasive discs in surface preparation and finishing applications. It accepts a 1/4-20 male thread shank and is rated for a maximum of 30,000 RPM, making it compatible with high-speed die grinders and rotary tools. The hard density backing provides firm, consistent support across the disc face for aggressive material removal on metal, composites, and similar substrates. At 0.08 pounds, it is a lightweight component suited for repetitive, high-cycle use in shop or field environments.
This backing pad is intended for use with Quick-Lok compatible Quick-Change Type S abrasive discs. It is well suited for weld blending, deburring, and surface conditioning tasks on metal fabrication benches, in maintenance shops, and during on-site repair work. The 1/4-20 male thread mounts directly to die grinders or rotary tools with a standard 1/4-inch collet or threaded spindle. Both production shops and field technicians working with grinders will find this pad fits standard tooling without adapters.
Designed for use with Quick-Lok compatible Quick-Change Type S abrasive discs on die grinders and rotary tools equipped with a 1/4-inch threaded spindle or collet.
Installation and disc changes should be performed with the grinder powered off and disconnected from its power source or air supply. Thread the backing pad onto the tool spindle by hand until snug, then secure per the tool manufacturer's specification. Do not exceed the 30,000 RPM maximum speed rating when selecting a tool. Inspect the pad for cracks, deformation, or thread damage before each use and replace if wear is evident.
