The TRERICE 842615100061 is an adjustable-angle glass bulb thermometer built for industrial temperature measurement in HVAC, plumbing, and process piping applications. The unit uses a spirit-filled glass bulb sensing element paired with a 9-inch dial face and a magnifying lens tube for easy readout in field conditions. The temperature range spans 30 degrees F to 160 degrees F with an accuracy rating of plus or minus 1 percent. The swivel-nut end connection allows the dial to be repositioned without disturbing the stem, which is a practical advantage when pipework orientation limits direct sightlines to the gauge face. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians are the primary installers.
This thermometer is suited for industrial and commercial hydronic systems, boiler supply and return lines, chilled water piping, and general process piping where immersion stem measurement is preferred. The IP54 enclosure rating provides a degree of protection against dust ingress and water splash, making it appropriate for mechanical rooms and light outdoor applications where exposure to moisture is a concern. The 3.5-inch aluminum stem provides adequate immersion depth for accurate bulk fluid temperature readings in standard pipe configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style industrial immersion thermometer for use in standard 1-1/4 inch-18 UNEF threaded thermowell or direct-mount applications on industrial and commercial piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable mechanical codes. Shut off system flow and relieve pipe pressure before installing or replacing an immersion thermometer stem. Do not overtighten the swivel nut; hand-tighten and snug with a wrench only until the connection is leak-free. Set the dial angle to the desired viewing position before placing the system back into service.
