Product Description

Trane VAL12710 is a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) for 3-ton R410A HVAC systems. The valve meters refrigerant to the evaporator to provide superheat control and to reduce the risk of compressor liquid slugging. It features a 1/2" ODF inlet and 3/8" ODF outlet, non-adjustable operation, and a 92 PSIG pressure rating, suitable as an OEM replacement for compatible Trane split systems and heat pumps.
