The STERLING HVAC 72132106-0 is a modular shower enclosure back wall designed for the Ensemble shower line. Constructed from solid Vikrell material, this back wall delivers structural strength, impact resistance, and a high-gloss white finish that resists soap scum and cleans easily. At 60 inches wide and 72.5 inches tall, it covers a standard shower back wall opening. Tongue-and-groove interlocking joints create a seamless appearance between panels and simplify alignment during installation. The panel includes factory-installed age-in-place backers, allowing grab bars to be added later without core drilling or additional blocking. Integrated shelving on the back wall provides built-in storage for soap, shampoo, and accessories.
This back wall panel is intended for use in residential and light commercial shower enclosure installations. It is specifically designed for the Ensemble 7213 shower enclosure series. The modular design allows individual panels to be moved through standard doorways and around corners, making it practical for retrofit and remodel applications where access is limited. Licensed plumbers and tile or bath installers typically handle the fit-out. The panel meets CSA B45.5/IAPMO Z124, ASTM E162/E662, and UL 2818 standards, making it suitable for code-compliant residential and commercial shower builds.
Designed for use with the Sterling Ensemble 7213 shower enclosure series. Confirmed compatible model and brand designation: 7213, Ensemble.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or experienced bath installer. Shut off the water supply and ensure the shower substrate and framing are plumb, level, and free of moisture damage before setting panels. Follow the manufacturer's panel sequence and adhesive recommendations as outlined in the installation guide. Verify local building code requirements, including any applicable IPC provisions for wet area wall assemblies, before beginning work.
