The Spears 1429-129 is a PVC insert x spiral barb reducing coupling that connects 1 inch polyethylene insert pipe to 3/8 inch spiral-barb tubing for irrigation, landscape, and potable water systems. The molded rigid PVC body provides axial retention with a twist-lock insert adapter and built-in lock ring; it meets ASTM D2609 and is NSF certified for potable water. Compatible with ASTM D2104 Schedule 40 and ASTM D2239 SIDR polyethylene pipe.
