The SOUTHWIRE CPB75 is a 3/4-inch plastic conduit bushing designed to protect wire and cable insulation at conduit terminations. Installed at the end of a conduit run where it enters a knockout, enclosure, or panel, the bushing provides a smooth, rounded edge that prevents abrasion damage to conductor insulation. This type of fitting is a standard part of any electrical rough-in or panel installation. Electricians and electrical contractors install these during conduit termination work on both new construction and retrofit projects.
The CPB75 is suited for use in residential and light commercial electrical installations wherever 3/4-inch conduit terminates at a junction box, panel enclosure, or other electrical enclosure. It is a direct push-in or thread-seat bushing that seats quickly without special tooling, making it a practical choice for high-volume conduit work on standard EMT or rigid conduit runs.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement fitting for standard 3/4-inch conduit termination applications in residential and light commercial electrical systems.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lock out the circuit or panel before working at any enclosure termination. Seat the bushing fully into the knockout before pulling conductors through to ensure consistent edge protection. Inspect the bushing for cracks or deformation before installation, as a damaged bushing does not provide reliable insulation protection.
