The SOUTHWIRE/COLEMAN CABLE 65076601 is a 1/2 inch EMT push-to-install watertight coupling designed to join two sections of EMT conduit quickly and without tools. Using the SimPush push-to-install mechanism, the fitting locks conduit in place in a single motion, eliminating the need for a screwdriver or wrench on the connection. Built from corrosion-resistant, copper-free aluminum, this coupling is rated watertight and concrete-tight, making it suitable for wet locations, direct burial, and exposed outdoor runs. Electricians working on commercial and residential installations will find this fitting useful wherever speed and code-compliant watertight connections are required.
This coupling is suited for both indoor and outdoor EMT conduit installations, including underground direct-burial runs and concrete-encased applications. The watertight and concrete-tight ratings make it appropriate for use in wet or damp locations per NEC requirements. Each package contains 30 couplings, which makes it practical for larger conduit rough-in jobs where multiple connections are needed across a single run or panel feed. The SimPush removal tool, sold separately, allows the coupling to be removed and reused without damaging the fitting or conduit.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch EMT conduit in standard residential and commercial electrical conduit systems requiring watertight coupling connections.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Ensure power is de-energized before working on any conduit system connected to live circuits. Conduit ends should be cut cleanly and deburred before insertion into the coupling to ensure a proper seal and secure lock. Use only the SimPush removal tool for disassembly to avoid damaging the fitting.
