The SOUTHWIRE BX142 is a 14-2 armored electrical cable designed for protected branch-circuit wiring in residential and light commercial construction. Armored cable (Type AC) uses a flexible interlocked metal armor jacket to shield the conductors from physical damage, making it suitable for exposed runs where non-metallic sheathed cable is not permitted by code.
