The SOUTHWIRE 777S is a wire pulling lubricant formulated to reduce friction during conductor installation in conduit systems. It is applied to electrical conductors before pulling them through conduit runs, helping to protect wire insulation and reduce the physical effort required to complete the pull. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors use this product during rough-in and finish wiring on both residential and commercial projects. At 9 pounds per container, it provides sufficient volume for large conduit runs.
The 777S is suited for use in standard conduit installations where friction reduction is required. It is commonly used during wire pulls through PVC, EMT, and rigid metal conduit. The product applies to a wide range of conductor types and insulation materials encountered in typical electrical work.
Designed for use as a wire pulling lubricant with standard electrical conductors in residential and commercial conduit installations.
Wire pulling lubricant is applied by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC guidelines for conductor installation. De-energize all circuits in the work area before beginning any conductor pull. Apply lubricant evenly along the conductor prior to feeding it into the conduit. Avoid using lubricants that are incompatible with conductor insulation materials as specified by the wire manufacturer.
