The SIOUX CHIEF 642WP2 is a 1/2 inch F1960 PEX-A expansion-style polyphenylene 90 degree elbow fitting designed for use in potable water distribution and hydronic piping systems. Conforming to the ASTM F1960 standard, this fitting connects via cold-expansion rings rather than crimp or clamp methods, producing a joint that cold-expands back to its original diameter around the fitting for a secure, leak-resistant connection. Plumbers and pipefitters working with PEX-A tubing use this elbow to make directional changes in tight spaces without reducing flow.
