The SHAVIV 154-00040 is an 11-piece hand deburring tool set designed for removing burrs, sharp edges, and flash from machined, fabricated, or cut workpieces. The set includes interchangeable high speed steel blades in both B-series and E-series profiles, paired with a Mango-style plastic handle that measures 4.645 inches in length. Blade swap is tool-free, making it practical for benchtop and field use. This set is suited for machinists, pipefitters, sheet metal workers, and maintenance technicians who need a versatile deburring solution across multiple edge and hole geometries.
The 154-00040 is intended for use on flat surfaces, straight edges, hole edges, and hole inner surfaces. The E-series blades handle general deburring and deflashing across a range of materials, while the B-series blades are optimized for hole chamfering work on front-entry applications. The set covers both B-type and E-type blade profiles, giving a single technician the flexibility to address the majority of common deburring tasks without switching tools. Typical applications include deburring pipe ends, conduit cuts, sheet metal edges, and machined bores in residential and commercial mechanical work.
Designed as a universal hand deburring set compatible with interchangeable B-series and E-series SHAVIV blade profiles. Blades are suitable for use on metal, plastic, and similar workpiece materials across a wide range of edge and hole configurations.
This tool is intended for use by machinists, pipefitters, electricians, and mechanical technicians as part of standard workpiece finishing and edge preparation. Always de-energize, depressurize, or otherwise make safe any system before performing deburring work on installed components. Wear cut-resistant gloves when changing blades, as high speed steel edges are sharp. Follow shop safety protocols and applicable trade codes when preparing pipe, conduit, or mechanical fittings for assembly.
