The SENVA HT1D-2EUD is a duct-mount humidity and temperature transmitter designed for HVAC monitoring and control applications. It combines a capacitive humidity sensor with a 10K Type II thermistor into a single probe assembly measuring 6.80 inches in length. The unit operates on 24 VAC or 24 VDC and delivers a 4-20 mA output signal, making it straightforward to wire into building automation systems and DDC controllers. Humidity accuracy is rated at 2%. An onboard LCD provides local readout of measured values, and outputs are field selectable so technicians can configure the unit on-site without additional hardware. Licensed HVAC controls technicians and building automation specialists are the primary installers.
The HT1D-2EUD is suited for a wide range of commercial and institutional environments where duct air conditions must be monitored continuously. Typical applications include humidification and dehumidification control, supply air, discharge air, and return air sensing, economizer control, clean rooms, data centers, process control environments, schools, hospitals, and office buildings. The duct-mount form factor allows the probe to be inserted directly into the airstream without requiring an external enclosure or additional mounting accessories.
Designed as an OEM-style duct humidity and temperature transmitter for use in commercial HVAC systems requiring 4-20 mA analog inputs and 24-volt low-voltage control power.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed HVAC controls technician or building automation specialist. De-energize the air handling unit and confirm 24-volt power is off before inserting the probe or making wiring connections. Follow NEC low-voltage wiring guidelines when routing signal and power conductors. Verify duct probe insertion depth and seal the duct penetration around the probe fitting to prevent air leakage after installation.
