The SENVA CT1O-A3X is an outdoor-mount carbon dioxide (CO2) sensor designed for continuous ambient air monitoring across a range of commercial, industrial, and agricultural environments. It measures CO2 concentration over a range of 0 to 500 ppm and transmits data via selectable voltage or current output signals. The sensor ships without an integrated display and without a temperature measurement function, keeping the form factor compact and the installation straightforward. It is intended for installation by licensed HVAC technicians, building automation specialists, and controls contractors working on outdoor air quality or ventilation monitoring applications.
The CT1O-A3X is suited for outdoor sensing applications (OSA mount) where CO2 levels in ambient or exhaust air need to be tracked and fed into a building automation system or controller. Typical deployment environments include greenhouses, agricultural facilities, food and beverage processing areas, laboratories, parking garages, and transportation infrastructure. Because the unit is rated for outdoor use, it is appropriate for rooftop economizer monitoring, fresh-air intake sensing, and similar field-mounted installations where weather exposure is a factor.
Designed as an outdoor-mount CO2 sensor compatible with building automation and direct digital control systems that accept voltage or current analog input signals.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC or building automation controls technician. Power down the control panel or BAS input module before wiring the sensor output. Select the appropriate voltage or current output mode per the controller input specification before commissioning. Follow all applicable local codes and manufacturer wiring guidance when routing signal cables to avoid interference from high-voltage conductors.
