The Robertshaw IMV506 is a millivolt gas valve used in various heating applications. This valve combines multiple controls and is actuated by a wall thermostat. It incorporates a manual gas cock, an automatic pilot safety valve, and a millivolt operator. The automatic pilot safety feature works independently of the gas cock, providing safety by ensuring gas shutoff during a pilot outage. It can be installed in most positions, except upside down.
