The QMARK pg1324ba12 is a straight-walled underground pull box manufactured from polymer concrete and designed for below-grade electrical service applications. The open base configuration allows for flexible conduit entry and soil drainage. Rated at a 22,500-pound design load and a 33,750-pound test load, this box is built for installations where vehicle or surface traffic loads are a concern. Gray in color, it carries UL approval and uses a stackable mounting system that allows units to be stacked vertically when additional depth is required. Electrical contractors and utility crews install this box for underground wiring, splice points, and service transitions.
This box is suited for underground electrical distribution systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. The PG Series cover type and open base design make it a standard choice for direct-burial conduit runs where accessible pull points are required. Its polymer concrete construction resists corrosion, chemical exposure, and ground movement better than traditional precast concrete, making it well suited for harsh soil conditions and high-traffic surface areas such as parking lots, driveways, and roadway shoulders.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation underground pull box for use with PG Series covers in straight-walled underground electrical enclosure applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for underground enclosures and pull boxes. Power down all circuits before making connections inside the enclosure. Ensure proper bedding material and compaction around the box to maintain load rating integrity. Do not exceed the rated design load capacity for the installation surface type.
