The PRO-SOURCE NUF-04NAL is a standard compressed air filter designed to remove particulate contamination from compressed air lines in industrial and commercial pneumatic systems. Rated at 5 microns, it captures fine particles before they reach downstream tooling, valves, and actuators. The unit flows up to 106.99 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) through a 1/2 in NPT port, making it suitable for moderate-demand air circuits. The aluminum bowl and body construction provides durability in shop and plant environments. A semi-automatic drain handles condensate removal without full manual intervention, and a built-in sight glass allows quick visual inspection of bowl level. Licensed mechanical or pneumatic technicians typically specify and install this unit as part of a filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) assembly.
The NUF-04NAL fits into compressed air preparation lines where clean, dry air is required upstream of pneumatic controls, cylinders, or precision tooling. Its modular connection design allows integration into multi-unit FRL assemblies. At 106.99 SCFM and a 1/2 in NPT port size, it suits mid-range industrial compressor circuits, production lines, and maintenance air drops in light manufacturing or automotive service facilities. The 3.7 oz aluminum bowl with polyethylene filter media handles typical shop-air particulate loads at operating temperatures down to 14 degrees F.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation compressed air filter for 1/2 in NPT pneumatic lines in modular FRL assemblies and standard compressed air preparation circuits.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic system plumbing and applicable codes. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before installing or servicing this filter. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to all NPT connections and verify there are no leaks before returning the system to pressure. Orient the bowl downward as designed to ensure proper condensate collection and drain function.
