The PRO-SOURCE 2557553865PRO is a push-to-connect tube fitting with a female NPT port, designed for inline tubing connections in compressed air and water systems. The fitting features a tube-by-FNPT-by-tube connection pattern, allowing a technician to branch or pass through a 5/32 inch OD tube line while also accepting a 1/8 inch NPTF threaded port. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it handles working pressures up to 250 psi and temperatures from 0 degrees F to 160 degrees F. The internal O-ring seal is Buna rubber. Plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians install these fittings in light industrial and commercial fluid-handling assemblies.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving compressed air lines and water distribution tubing. The push-to-connect design allows fast, tool-free tube insertion without compression sleeves or ferrules, reducing installation time on service calls and new construction alike. Typical install scenarios include instrumentation panels, pneumatic control circuits, and small-diameter water supply connections where a female NPT port must tie into a continuous tube run. Sold in a package quantity of five units per order.
Designed for use with compressed air and water systems requiring 5/32 inch OD tubing connections and a 1/8 inch NPTF female port. Suitable as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting in pneumatic and light-duty fluid-handling circuits.
Installation is performed by plumbers, pipefitters, or pneumatic system technicians. Depressurize and drain the line completely before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and that the OD is free of burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect port. Apply thread sealant compatible with the service fluid to the NPTF threads in accordance with applicable plumbing or pneumatic codes before making up the threaded connection.
