Pip 251-01-5270 is an aluminum face shield bracket for mounting optical or full-face visors to full brim hard hats. The bracket fits most full brim style hats and uses a universal visor mounting hole pattern; a rubber sleeve on the tension spring helps prevent slippage and damage to the hard hat. The aluminum construction is designed to withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures and meets ANSI Z87.1-2015 requirements.
