The PIP 1816-4 is a pair of TIG welding gloves constructed from top grain deerskin leather with a cotton fleece lining for added comfort during extended use. Designed for multi-task and TIG welding applications, these gloves feature Kevlar stitching for superior seam strength and heat resistance. The gauntlet cuff style provides wrist and forearm coverage, while the pre-curved, three-dimensional Kontour finger design delivers a form-fitting feel that supports dexterity in close-tolerance weld work. The suede grip surface improves tool and rod control. These gloves ship as a pair in size Medium, which also corresponds to a Large in women's sizing.
The 1816-4 is suited for residential and light industrial environments where TIG welding and general multi-process welding tasks are performed. The gauntlet cuff and flame and heat protection rating make these a practical choice for welders working in fabrication shops, maintenance settings, or field repair scenarios. The included carabiner and Caiman loops on each pair allow gloves to be clipped together for storage between jobs, reducing loss on busy job sites.
Designed for TIG welding and multi-task welding applications. Available in size Medium, corresponding to a Large in women's sizing. Part of the PIP 1816 series.
Welding gloves are donned before initiating any arc or flame operation. Ensure all welding equipment is powered down and cooled before handling workpieces without gloves. Inspect gloves before each use for worn seams, holes, or degraded leather that could compromise heat and flame protection. Follow applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1910.252 personal protective equipment requirements for welding operations.
