It freezes at 28.4 F (-2 C) to maintain lower temperatures longer and uses a flat, low-profile design to maximize surface contact for even cooling. Constructed from FDA-approved, non-toxic, BPA-free materials with a UV-protective shell, it fits Pelican Elite Coolers from 20QT to 250QT and recharges in a freezer.
