The OSG VGM7-0096 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. Built to the VGM7 series specification, it features a 0.75 inch mill diameter, a 2.25-inch length of cut, and 7 helical flutes with a 36-degree helix angle. The variable index flute spacing reduces chatter and improves surface finish in aggressive cutting conditions. An EXO coating provides enhanced heat and wear resistance, extending tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. This end mill is sized for use in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills where a 3/4-inch straight-cylindrical shank is the standard setup.
