The OSG VGM3-0005 is a 3-flute solid carbide square end mill from the VGM3-AL series, designed for high-performance milling applications. With a 3/16-inch cutting diameter and a 9/16-inch length of cut, this end mill features a variable helix design with four distinct helix angles — 40, 41, 42, and 43 degrees — engineered to reduce harmonic vibration and chatter during cutting. A bright coating finish is applied to the flutes. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard. This tool is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators working in production and job-shop environments.

The VGM3-0005 is suited for aluminum and non-ferrous milling applications where the variable helix geometry of the VGM3-AL series provides an advantage in surface finish and tool life. The 2-inch overall length and straight-cylindrical shank make it compatible with standard collet chucks and end mill holders.
