The OSG HP441-7500 is a solid carbide square end mill engineered for high-performance milling in demanding shop environments. Designed for right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction, this center-cutting tool handles full-slot and peripheral milling operations. The 3/4 inch diameter cutter features a 35-degree helix angle with straight flute geometry and a TiAlN coating that improves heat resistance and extends tool life in abrasive and high-temperature cutting conditions. Micrograin carbide construction provides edge integrity at elevated feeds and speeds. This end mill is installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals running CNC or manual milling machines.
The HP441-7500 is suited for milling ferrous and non-ferrous materials in job shop, production, and maintenance machining applications. The 1-1/2 inch length of cut accommodates typical depth-of-cut requirements in mold work, fixture fabrication, and general part machining. A 3/4 inch straight shank fits standard ER collets, end mill holders, and shrink-fit tooling systems used on vertical and horizontal machining centers.

Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked before inserting or removing the end mill from the holder. Verify runout with a dial indicator after tooling is seated and torqued to the holder specification. Consult OSG HP441 series cutting data for recommended speeds, feeds, and depth-of-cut parameters for the target material.
