The OSG HP400-5000 is a 4-flute solid carbide roughing square end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. It carries a TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride) finish that extends tool life by improving heat and wear resistance at elevated cutting speeds. With a 0.5-inch cutting diameter and 1.25-inch length of cut, this end mill is built for roughing passes on ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. The 3-inch overall length and 0.5-inch shank diameter make it compatible with standard milling chucks and collet holders. It is a single-end, centercutting tool with a 30-degree helix angle and right-hand cut and flute direction.
