The overall length is 124.00 mm, with a 77.00 mm flute length and a 14.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation and heat management during deep or interrupted cuts. The HP255-5394 is built for drilling steel, alloy steel, and cast iron in applications including blind hole drilling, cross hole drilling, general drilling, and self-centering operations. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and regular spiral type make it well suited for medium-depth holes where controlled chip flow matters. Its R-thinned web reduces thrust and improves entry performance.
