Measuring 8.7 mm in diameter with a 140-degree point angle and R-thinned web geometry, it promotes self-centering entry and reduces thrust on hard materials. The WD1 coating improves wear resistance and heat dissipation during extended production runs. At 103 mm overall length with a 61 mm flute length, this bit fits standard jobber-length toolholders. Coolant-through capability supports high-speed drilling where chip evacuation and thermal control are critical. It is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians in CNC and manual drilling applications.
This drill bit is designed for blind hole drilling, cross-hole operations, and general through-hole drilling in ferrous workpiece materials. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio suits medium-depth hole applications common in production machining, fabrication shops, and maintenance environments. The straight-cylindrical shank at 10 mm diameter seats securely in standard drill chucks and collet holders.
