The OSG HP255-1693 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit engineered for high-performance drilling in ferrous materials. Ground to a 140-degree point angle with R-thinned web geometry, it self-centers on entry and reduces thrust in hard workpieces. The WD1 coating extends tool life in steel, alloy steel, and cast iron applications. At 74 mm overall length with a 36 mm flute length and a 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio, this bit delivers consistent chip evacuation in moderate-depth holes. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 6 mm in diameter for secure chuck engagement. Installation is handled by machinists and CNC operators in job shop and production environments.

Compatibility
