The 140-degree point angle with R-thinned web geometry reduces thrust and promotes self-centering without a pilot hole. The WD1 coating improves wear resistance and heat dissipation during cutting. The HP245-1406 is engineered for drilling steel, alloy steel, and cast iron in both blind hole and through-hole configurations. It handles cross-hole and self-centering applications as well.
