The NU-CALGON NUCAL-4083-75 is a high-activity solvent-blend degreaser packaged in a 14 oz aerosol can. It is formulated without ozone-depleting compounds or chlorinated solvents, making it compliant with current OTC VOC requirements at 0.447 VOC content. The pressurized spray delivers a powerful blast that cuts through grease, oily residue, and surface contaminants on contact. HVAC technicians, refrigeration mechanics, and plumbers use this product to clean coils, equipment housings, hand tools, and service parts in the field or shop. The solvent composition includes acetone, heptane, carbon dioxide, and toluene, with a specific gravity of 0.977.

This degreaser is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC and refrigeration service work. It is commonly used to clean condenser coils, evaporator pans, motor housings, and metal parts before inspection or reassembly. It is also appropriate for general equipment and tool cleaning during routine maintenance calls. Note: for installations or service performed in California or other low-VOC jurisdictions, Nu-Calgon recommends the Degreasing Solvent LV formulation instead of this product.
