The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 23308X6 is a brass SAE pattern reducing pipe coupling designed to connect two female NPTF threads of different sizes in a single fitting. The larger port accepts a 1/2-14 NPTF female connection and the smaller port accepts a 3/8-18 NPTF female connection, allowing techs to step down pipe or tubing runs without an intermediate adapter. At 1.38 inches in length with a 1.06-inch hex, it installs cleanly with a standard open-end or adjustable wrench.
