The MARSHALLTOWN 12611 is a curved drywall trowel designed for finishing and feathering drywall compound on walls and ceilings. The curved blade profile allows the installer to apply and smooth joint compound with consistent pressure across the face of the blade, reducing edge marks and minimizing additional passes. The blade measures 11 inches in length by 4.5 inches in width and is mounted on an aluminum alloy base. The DuraSoft handle provides a firm, fatigue-reducing grip during extended finishing work. This trowel is a standard tool for drywall finishers and finishing contractors working on residential and light commercial interiors.
The 12611 is suited for taping and finishing stages of interior drywall installation. The curved blade is particularly useful when feathering compound over flat joints and butt joints where a slight crown is needed to achieve a flat surface after sanding. It is also used for skim coating and finish coat application on new drywall. The aluminum alloy mounting keeps the tool lightweight for overhead and extended-reach work.
Designed as a standard curved finishing trowel for use in residential and light commercial drywall finishing applications.
This trowel is used by drywall finishers and plasterers during the taping and finishing stages of interior construction. Clean the blade thoroughly after each use to prevent compound buildup that can affect blade flex and finish quality. Store the trowel flat or hung to avoid warping the blade. Dispose of excess compound per local waste guidelines.
