Product Description

The LPS 01228 is a water-soluble, water-based cutting and tapping fluid supplied in a 1-gallon bottle. It is formulated as a liquid coolant and lubricant for metal machining and fabrication operations. The fluid is compatible with ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals except magnesium. It supports a broad range of metal-removal and forming operations, making it a practical single-fluid solution for shops running multiple processes. Machinists, tool-and-die workers, and fabricators working in production or maintenance environments are the primary users of this product.

This fluid is suited for use in both light and general-duty machining applications across ferrous and non-ferrous metal stock. It is applicable on the shop floor for operations including boring, broaching, drawing, drilling, engraving, facing, finishing, grinding, milling, reaming, sawing, stamping, tapping, threading, and turning.
