The LPS 01205 is a water-soluble, water-based cutting and tapping fluid supplied in a 5-gallon pail. It is formulated to perform across a broad range of metalworking operations including drilling, tapping, threading, milling, reaming, turning, grinding, boring, broaching, drawing, engraving, facing, finishing, sawing, and stamping. The liquid formula appears blue-green and is compatible with ferrous and non-ferrous metals, with the exception of magnesium. Machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and maintenance professionals use this fluid to reduce heat and friction at the cutting interface, extending tool life and improving surface finish quality.
This cutting fluid is suited for both light and demanding metalworking applications in machine shops, fabrication facilities, and maintenance environments. It performs across a wide range of operations on ferrous metals such as steel and iron, as well as non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, and copper. The water-soluble, water-based composition makes it compatible with standard coolant delivery systems and simplifies post-operation cleanup. It meets OSHA standards and is sold by the single 5-gallon pail.
Designed for use on ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals except magnesium. Also identified under the trade names Tapmatic AquaCut and Tapmatic Aquacut.
This fluid is applied by machinists, tooling technicians, or maintenance professionals during metal cutting and forming operations. Follow the manufacturer dilution guidelines when mixing with water for coolant system use. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before handling, dispensing, or disposing of this fluid in accordance with OSHA requirements and applicable local regulations. Avoid use on magnesium workpieces.
